[2024-04-29] KakaoHealthcare opens a special pop-up store for its AI-based smart glucose management solution ‘PASTA’ at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch, one of South Korea’s leading department stores, from April 29th to May 9th.

The pop-up store was planned through collaboration between KakaoHealthcare and Shinsegae Department Store to provide diverse and meaningful experiences to customers who are interested in health issues such as their glucose level. Apart from medical conferences and IT events, this pop-up store is the first time that ‘PASTA’ directly meets customers in face-to-face offline distribution channel.

The pop-up store offers various events to provide customers with special experiences and benefits. For example, customers who download the ‘PASTA’ app and add ‘PASTA’ channel in their KakaoTalk friend or participate in the on-site airball raffle will receive special gifts such as ‘Chunsik Rick Bowl,’ ‘Dr. Ryan Character Figure,’ and ‘Dr. Ryan Reusable Bag.’ Additionally, in celebration of Family Month in May, KakaoHealthcare offers a special promotion of ‘buy one, get one free (1+1 promotion)’ for a certain brand of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices, while all customers who make a purchase will receive ‘Dr.Ryan Character Figure.’

KakaoHealthcare launched its AI-based, smart glucose management solution ‘PASTA’ this February. ‘PASTA’ is a solution that analyzes real-time glucose levels measured through continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices, and lifelog data such as diet, exercise, and sleep entered by users, and suggests lifestyle habits recommended by the Korean Diabetes Association.
